Tampa Bay Rays vs Toronto Blue Jays

The Blue Jays are getting decent respect at home here, but I'm not seeing the value everyone else apparently is. Toronto's sitting as a -149 favorite with that run and a half, which feels a bit steep for a team that's been inconsistent against AL East competition.

Tampa's getting +123 on the moneyline, and that number jumps out immediately. The Rays have made a living as road dogs over the years, and their analytical approach tends to find edges in spots exactly like this. They're getting written off too quickly at plus money.

The total at 7.5 is interesting territory. Both offenses have shown flashes but neither has been consistently explosive. I'm leaning under here – these AL East matchups tend to tighten up, especially with both teams likely throwing quality arms.

My read on the spread: Tampa +1.5 at what's probably around -200 juice doesn't excite me, but the straight moneyline does. The Rays are built for these grinding road series, and getting better than even money against a Blue Jays team that hasn't proven it can consistently close out games feels like the right side.

The market seems to be overvaluing Toronto's home field advantage. I'm backing Tampa straight up and taking the under on a total that feels inflated by a run.
